Our annual Christmas party and pitch in dinner has been scheduled for Friday, Dec 14th, at approximately 8:00 pm. (after classes). Hapkido will be combined with the advanced TKD class to accommodate an early start to the festivities. We have some fun planned and also have some major announcements to explain in detail. Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect. Especially when it comes to layout of the space. The entire family is welcome regardless of whether they are students or not.
What to bring:
TABLES AND CHAIRS! We are definitely going to be short on theseso please bring any folding tables and chairs that you may have.
FOOD! This is a pitch-in. We will provide some of the main dishes, but we need help. To ensure a variety, we have broken up the responsibilities. We will also start a sign-up sheet so everyone knows what everyone else is bringing.
White belts: Deserts
Yellow Belt: Side dishes-hot dishes
Green Belts: Salads, dips and other appetizer foods
Purple and up: ice and drinks.

AN END OF AN ERA:
Ms. Charlton will be leaving us after the Christmas party to pursue other things like grad school and marriage. We thank her for her service, which has helped GMA grow. More importantly, we are going to miss a good friend. A replacement is being considered, and if all goes well, you can meet him at the party (if not prior).

NEW JUNIOR HAPKIDO PROGRAM TO BE LAUNCHED THE START OF NEXT YEAR
Currently Hapkido is reserved for 16 years and older. Mr. Todd Miller has been working with Mr. Sieg to develop a modified program that is more suitable for 12-16 year olds. Mr. Miller will be helping teach this program beginning in 2002 during the regular Hapkido class at Martinsville.
