Subject: Feb Newsletter GMA Newsletter Feb 2000

Upcoming events: There are several events quickly approaching that GMA students should take note of. We have projected further into the future than normal to give as much notice as possible for some of the events.

Feb 24th. TTCA black belt seminar. (Note that a free colored belt seminar will be held later in the year).
Feb 24/March 3rd, or Feb 25/March 4th. USHF President Don Burns will be holding a Japanese Restoration Therapy workshop on consecutive Sat. or Sun. from 9-6 each day. Cost for this massage and pressure point therapy workshop is $250, but students can review their skills for free at later workshops. Space is limited and demand is great, so please respond soon if interested.
Feb 23rd. Hapkido testing at GMA-Martinsville has been tentatively set for this evening.
March 2nd. Buddy night at GMA-Martinsville has been tentatively set for this night. Details below. Future Dates looking ahead, these are several other dates to put in the calendar. More events and additional details will be added as they become available.
March 24th. USHF Spring Seminar at Indiana State University in Terre Haute.
March 31st. Indiana University Tae Kwon Do Tournament. Open to adults only.
April 7th. Seminar at Harmony School in B-ton. Tenative Date for the next Jason Winkle Martial Concepts seminar.
May 12th. TTCA tournament in Louisville, KY.
June 1-3rd. TTCA Summer Camp. Upcoming buddy night. We are planning a "buddy night" for GMA-Martinsville students. This is an opportunity for all TKD students to invite a friend and their parents to come and watch class and have a short intro class. It also gives our students a chance to "show their stuff" someplace other than on the playground.

A reminder that students get a tuition break for referrals, and we will have special incentives for the "buddies." News and Notes. New help at Martinsville.

Ms. Tracy Charlton will be taking over as administrative assistant to better serve our students in Martinsville. Welcome Tracy.

Congratulations are in order to both Shaun Watts and Tracy Charlton-who both recently got engaged (not to each other).

A get well soon goes out to Mandy Thompson, 2nd degree black belt in TKD, who recently had her gall-bladder removed. We wish Mandy a speedy recovery so that she is back kicking with us soon.
